PVC-coated Squarelock flexible steel conduit is designed to carry and protect power and signal cables indoors and on industrial equipment. Its flexible metal core with an outer PVC jacket protects wires from physical damage and limits exposure to moisture, dust and dirt, within the product’s rated properties.

Its Squarelock construction lets the conduit bend and follow the installation area. It suits tight spaces, connections to electrical equipment and areas with movement or vibration (choose the conduit type to match the application), keeping power and signal cables organized, easy to install and better protected.

How to Use

Choose PVC-coated Squarelock flexible conduit that suits the number, size and type of wires, cables or signal lines to be pulled.
Measure and plan the route to suit the area, taking connections, electrical equipment and bend points into account.
Cut the conduit and check that the ends have no sharp metal edges that could damage the PVC layer or wire insulation.
Bend the conduit to suit the area, avoiding kinks or bends so tight that they narrow the inside of the conduit.
Fit connectors rated for PVC-coated Squarelock flexible conduit in the right size, so connections to boxes, panels and equipment are secure.
Use supports suited to the installation area to stop the conduit moving or sagging in service.
Check the inside and ends of the conduit for sharp edges or obstructions that could damage wire insulation.
Pull wires through carefully without excessive force, and do not exceed the specified fill.
Check the run, connections and supports before use. Disconnect power during installation and have the work done by a qualified electrician.
