Liquid-tight PVC-coated flexible steel conduit for general use, designed to carry and protect power, cable and signal lines from impact, dust, moisture and the outside environment, within the product’s rated properties. Its flexible metal core with an outer PVC jacket adds protection and reduces the risk of physical damage.

Because it can be bent and re-routed, it suits tight spaces, areas where conduit routing is restricted, connections to electrical equipment, installations that need flexibility, and locations with continuous vibration or movement.

How to Use

Choose liquid-tight PVC-coated flexible conduit that suits the number, size and type of power or signal cables to be pulled.
Measure and plan the route to suit the area, taking connections, electrical equipment and restricted areas into account.
Cut the conduit to length and check that the ends have no sharp metal edges that could damage the PVC layer or wire insulation.
Bend the conduit to fit the installation area, avoiding kinks or over-tight bends, and keep to the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius.
Fit liquid-tight connectors that match the conduit type and size, especially at boxes, panels or equipment that need moisture protection.
Support the conduit securely to suit the area, preventing sagging, movement or excessive strain.
Check the inside and ends of the conduit for sharp edges or obstructions that could damage wire insulation.
Pull wires through carefully without excessive force, and do not exceed the specified fill.
Check connections, fittings, seals and box entries according to the installation method to achieve the required water and dust protection.
Check the run, connections and supports before energizing. Disconnect power during installation and have the work done by a qualified electrician.
